Commuting

[Selected]: All categories Cars & Transportation Commuting

I like in Houston, TX. And I drive 18 miles to go work. It takes me about 20-25 minutes with minor traffic. If there's an accident, it usually takes me about 30-35 minutes.
What's your commute like?
Just curious to see what other people have to go through each morning!
Thanks!

My work is located about 3 miles away on Koll Center Pkwy. Is anybody commuting via this method and have any advice to offer? Thanks so much for your input!

There is alot of complaining in my town because of the red light cameras that have been put up to catch red light runners. People are complaining that it is a money making plot and unconstitutional. Come on people, why are you worried about it if you obey the law and don't run red lights?

i wanted to say confirmed not OK'd but it was to long a word - know taxi drivers are supposed to be licensed but i dont think that this license is to do with driving ability it's to do with paying for the priviledge of driving a taxi for profit - should they also have there ability to drive safely checked as it is with bus drivers

I am trying to get to my friends bachelorette party ASAP. i am coming from wilmington,NC and going to hertford, NC. yahoo and mapquest both have four hour driving directions and that is entirely too long. if anyone know how i could maybe shave and hour off of that i would love it. i dont always trust yahoo and mapquest because they said it took 3 hours to get to greenville, NC and actually takes just under two hours.

We all need to get to work and not everyone can have or even wants a car, it seems really odd that people pick on the cyclist so much when some are trying to help the environment. I have to drive myself but feel sorry for cyclists when i see them getting picked on, they must be brave to cycle in this atmosphere.

I've recently undertaken a ridiculous school/work schedule that requires me to drive from Beverly Hills to Northridge right around 4 or 5 every day. It's making me crazy!

I've been taking the 405, and I took Sepulveda a couple times. Once Sepulveda was great, but once it was TERRIBLE so that kind of made me nervous. Anyone have any tips or routes ro recommend?
