Penn Station on 34 St and 7 Ave serves Amtrak.
Grand Central on 42 St and Park Ave serves Metro North (a commuter line serving upstate NY and CT). Hyde Park is in upstate New York. There is a shuttle at Newark Airport that goes to Grand Central.
If you can, fly into John F. Kennedy (JFK), and LaGuardia. They are within two hours of the CIA. Metro-North Railroad (cheaper) and Amtrak (expensive) operate numerous trains daily from Grand Central Terminal (Metro North) and Penn Station (Amtrak), respectively, in New York City to Poughkeepsie, NY, three miles south of the college. For information call Metro-North at 1-800-638-7646 and Amtrak (Poughkeepsie) at 845-876-3364.

New York City has two main rail stations, Grand Central Terminal and Pennsylvania Station (Penn Station). Grand Central is on the East Side, in midtown, and Penn Station is on the West Side, just below midtown.
