there are many factors as to why ppl like to use taxi services as
1.they can reach their destination faster
2.they dont have to sit next to a stranger
3.the ride is personalized so it can be fun
4.its the best public transport to be used by couples
the factors why taxi services could be disliked are
1.they are costly
2.if you dont know ur destination then you could be taken for a ride by the driver

Factors for: Convenience.Taxis are usually waiting in areas around a station or airport. They're easy to spot.
They are faster than a bus. You don't have to sit next to a stranger. It feels safer most of the time, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area.
Factors against: Cost! It can be very expensive to take a taxi. Drivers can be dishonest, especially if they think you are new to the area, they may try to take you on a long route to make more money out of you. Drivers talk to you when you don't want them to.
