It is somthin about an airport in a big city like the atlanta airport or the la airport. I don't know I might be stange. To me an airport is a very good place just to hang out. See happy people enjoying the city they in. Not to mention if you lucky you might see big celebs in the airport. Like one time I was in the atlanta airport and I saw TI. Another time I was in the LAX airport and I saw Ice Cube.

When I was 17 I was desperate to learn hpw to drive, mum wouldn't let me (didn't have a job so left it at that). For my 21st birthday pressie she said I could have lessons. Wasn't really that bothered at that point but thought 'why not'. My driving instructor was a pig, told me that people who wanted lessons were stupid (he was a driving instructor hello?!) and basicaly sucked all my confidence away. Consequently I gave up and am now very scared to drive. My boyfriend has been lovely and keeps encouraging me to drive. He has given me a few lessons, is very encouraging and given me some of my confidence back. My 2 years on I think I should start learning again as I believe it will increase my job prospects. Am still very nervous esp of having a driving instructor, am gonna get my boyfriend to teach me to increase confidence. Any tips that could help me along?

I was travelling to Heathrow yesterday & witness many speed cameras on the motorway & wonder how EXACTLY does the "Average Speed Camera" work ??? How does it differ from the normal speed camera ???

Does the average speed camera flash?
Does it have any sensor underneath it?
Does it rely on the logic of some sort of time duration a certain vehicle HAS TO MAKE to travel from one point to another i.e. it should take NO LESS THAN 5 minutes from point A to point B & hence anyone reaching point B BEFORE 5 minutes must've been speeding ??? If so how exactly does the camera recognise that it's the SAME car ???

The NYC subway system claims they need to do repairs/constructions, and as a result, the service changes dramatically on the weekend; it has been like this for many years - at least on the subway line that I take regularly. It takes approximately 2 hrs for me to arrive to the destination that it normally takes 45 minutes during the week. I think they're faking the repairs/constructions; instead, they're cutting service. I've never seen any workers doing track work at all. Any thought?

I got a ticket for doing 75 in a 60 zone. Should I plead no contest, not guilty, or guilty? If i plead not guilty, i can ask for the cop to produce the certification for the laser. Has anyone done this? Does it work?

On an expressway or interstate, when traffic starts to get heavy, it is always the lane furthest from the on and off ramps that slows first and then stops. Is there an explanation for this phenomena?

I would be driving up on a Friday, leaving Raleigh, North Carolina at about 3:30 in the afternoon. Would it be better to take a car or the Amtrak? I am under the impression that most of the DC area traffic would be gone by the time I would get there. Thanks for your help.

I was waiting at a red light. There's two cars in front of me. The jerk directly in front of me starts slowly backing up. I look around - I don't see anyone trying to cut in front of him or any reason for him to be backing up. Then he collides with my car (at about 1mph)... his rear bumper is resting in my frikking license plate!
The light goes green, and we drive up to the next light. I wanted to change lanes but there were just too many cars. Anyways, at that next light, he does the same frikking BS only this time I left even more space than normal between my car and his.
He was hispanic, if that matters.

So, what the hell do you think this was about? Harassing a single girl? Insurance fraud? Racism?

Cell phones are cool and convenient, but why can't people just drive their cars without having to blab on the phone constantly? Who are they talking to that's so important? I would guess it's either their husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend, a friend or someone they're doing business with. When you're driving, it's not your "free time". You're driving. Traffic is bad. The people that gab on the phone hold up traffic, they're driving slower than the flow of traffic, they are less safe because they aren't paying attention, they don't use turn signals, and they can't really make a proper turn with only one hand. Of course, if a call is necessary, why don't they don't pull to the side of the road and talk? Everyone is so selfish on the public highways. Does there have to be a law before people will hang up the phone and drive?
