In a small town in GA our gas went way down this week...It was $2.43 a gallon. I nearly pissed in my pants with joy. Now that's a shame when I can recall when gas was $.99 a gallon. I'm only 34.

Just back from the Chevron station this morning in Los Angeles . . . I'm ready to party because the price dipped under $3 to $2.99 for the first time in more than a year!!!
We have lots of taxes and the cost of clean air additives here in Southern California piled on top of the regular price of gas.
Actually, I think L.A. Co. still has an extra .25% sales tax to pay for the '94 Northridge Earthquake repairs. Could that be true?

I live in Kansas city Kansas . Last week gas cost $2.89 . I drove across the state line into MIssouri and bought my gas for $2.84 it is only a few miles and I filled up my tank for five cents less per gallon. It is usually five cents less in Missouri than Kansas. The price has really dropped in the last week and today gas in Kansas is $2.67 at the Quick Trip where I usually buy my gas . I almost typed $1.89 instead of $2.89 what a mistake you probably would of been driving from Chicago to Kansas to get it for that price.

I paid $2.53 in Metro Detroit on 8/31 - whoohooo! My goal was to not get gas again until it hit $2.50 but my low fuel light went on and I figured I'd take what I could get!

i bought some yesterday,,and i actually almost got 2 gallons for 5 bucks,,its down to $2.52 a gallon here in Tennessee,,and i hope it drops more.
