The NYC subway system claims they need to do repairs/constructions, and as a result, the service changes dramatically on the weekend; it has been like this for many years - at least on the subway line that I take regularly. It takes approximately 2 hrs for me to arrive to the destination that it normally takes 45 minutes during the week. I think they're faking the repairs/constructions; instead, they're cutting service. I've never seen any workers doing track work at all. Any thought?

well you probably don't see them because the trains are diverted away from the tracks thats under repair. you may not see them, but sometimes you can hear them down the tunnel, a jack hammer, a signal horn, sometimes a flicker of their portable lights.

but i think you're right, being the MTA what it is, they're just making an excuse to jack up the fares yet again!

lol. there is not want for that. i will see with the help of many of the solutions human beings try to scare you. yet all you gotta do is convey the subway map. determine you realize the place you going, if something you could in simple terms ask somebody. Hmm, convey a music participant (ipod). in case you prefer to study you could in simple terms convey a mag. Oh and once you have have been given a homeless guy or woman soliciting for money, look down, or make have faith you're asleep. lol, that's what everybody else does.

I don't exactly take the time to look into it.
There are plenty of subways you can take, I'm sure it can't be that much of a delay.
