READ THIS! Send in a check to pay the ticket. Put a couple of dollars more on the check. When they send you a refund check, do not cash it. This will prevent points from being put on your license, because it remains open. It works, three years and running. What a bunch of hipocrits, Nobody lese has ever done 75 in a 60?!

My personal SOP is that I don't pull anyone over unless they're doing at least 15mph over the limit. I usually don't write a ticket until they're 20mph over. That can change based on the driving conduct (tailgating, cutting people off, failing to signal lane changes), the prior driving history, and the attitude of the driver.
My advice is to pay the ticket. The department that tagged you will have the laser/radar unit's certification records and will bring them to court. You'd lose your case and probably get extra court fees tacked on, too.

advice dont go in front of the judge and ask the cop to produce the certification for the laser they would not be allowed to use the laser if they were not certified you would look stupid then up paying court costs on top of your ticket throw your self on the mercy of the court and ask for points to be removed from your license that is what gets you in the long run "insurance " costs .

Plead guilty! You know you were wrong! Live with your mistake and learn from it! It is not the end of the world! Take responsibility for your actions! It will make you a stronger person! And Watch your damn speed!

The best thing to do is to go to court and hope the cop does not show up, in the event he does, try to make a deal with the judge (i.e. you pay the fine, but it won't go on your driving record as a moving violation). Chances are with the equipment cops have today, you will have trouble winning a case

I don't know about that, couldn't hurt I guess, worst they can do is make you pay the ticket...all I know is when you're pulled over, being honest is the best way to not get a ticket at all. So, when he asks, "do you know how fast you were going?", you can answer honestly because he already knows...if you're truthful, he might give you a warning because at least he knows that you were aware of how you were driving, and that even though you were speeding you were at least safe about it.

You could ask when the laser gun was last calibrated but you'd probably be best just to plead guilty.

In many states, fifteen mph over the speed limit is a major offense that adds substantial points to your license.
I sincerely hope the judge fines you heavily and suspends your license.
You have no business driving on public roads. You're dangerous.

You were going 15 miles over the designated speed limit. Thats a lot. Pay your fine.....quit speeding...and get on with your life.

Dispute it...even if you admit you're at fault to the judge, you get it dropped if the cop misses the appointment.
