I just moved to Milford, CT and am wondering what is the worst hours from Milford to NYC by car? If I were to leave Milford by 6:30 a.m. would I still be in bad shape? when is the traffic most congested on I-95?

I live near you and would tell you that at that time of day, it is best to try to take the Merritt if you can. You won't be in bad shape either way. You live in a town with a train station, though.

I'm in Ansonia CT---look up Metronorth on the Web---Commuter prices, I believe are from 6-9. 1-95 is a mess between, say, 6-10 or 9:30. You can get train fares for the month that are reasonable. I do envy you going to the City every day. Where do you work at?

Probably 5-10 AM on I-95, 6-10 on the other routes. Take the train.
