I live in the mountains and drive on dirt roads. I need a vehicle with good ground clearance and either all wheel drive or four wheel drive. Everything out there seems to be a gas guzzler. Any suggestions.

I noticed Dodge Chrysler and a lot of car companies have that auto shift gear box. That's so wack, compared to the traditional clutch. It just goes from side to side for gears, no more clutch. It's really still an automatic to me because the clutch is gone. I see now why American cars are not being bought as much as foreign cars now. We (car consumers) want the traditional clutch to come back in effect. It's the sportscar feel behind the wheel, you can't feel it behind a Dodge Charger because there's no clutch anymore, no matter how fast you make it. My favorite car is the Corvette, however, if someone tried to sell me a automatic I would not take it because it wouldn't feel the same without the manual transmission. What's your opinion on this?

I just always wanted to know. they never did talk much about why they had dropped it. i liked some of the Oldsmobiles productions. my favorite car of the oldsmobile was the Aurora. i still see that on the road. were their cars no good in the end? my grandmother had a 1978 delta 88(which she brought brand-new , and she had that for years, and even when she brought her cadillac she still used the delta 88 as an extra car. what happen with the Oldsmobiles?

My friend and I have been looking at cars under $10,000 with under 100,000 miles that are sporty looking (coupes or sedans). So far, we've found A LOT of Oldsmobile Alero's and Pontiac Grand Am's. Are there any other sporty-looking sedans/coupes in this used price range? (My friend is also looking for something 2000 or newer...)
