This was popular when i was younger ( early 70s) the dude was always sitting on a jacked up hot rod big supercharger hanging out of the front of the car. He had huge eyes and toungue hanging out of his mouth.

which one is faster? which one is better looking on the inside? which one will be faster if it is modified to its true potential? which car would you choose if they both are being sold at an auction, at the same exact price?

My dad is an EXTREMELY back woods dad that only beleives in getting me a dodge or a Chevy for my 16th birthday. I REALLY want a Honda Civic and he disagrees by saying "I don't beleive in any of that foreign stuff." I want a car, but ya'll know how bad a junky dodges are, and that's what he has his mind set to. I have recently bought a 2001 Dodge Dakota quard cab 4x4 with the 5.9L 360CID it has 175k miles after about a week of owning this new JEWEL it developed a coolant leak at the water pump weep hole. r&r'ed water pump and t-stat now this thing builds up way to much pressure the coolant system is a 21 pound system and when i start the engine my pressure tester reads it to build to aroun 36lbs with in about 10 mins it was showing to run warm before the water pump and t-stat but now it gets realy realy hot. and builds enough pressure to blow most of the coolant out of the system. then i thought head gasket has an exhaust gas test ran on it no coolant in exhaust and no exhaust in the coolant but i am showing bubbles at the radiator filler neck? if anyone has any ideas I would be very greatful and might even by you a beer if Im able to get this thing roadworthy again.

I have a 1960-2 door -Studebaker 'Lark' -- that had a small block V8 & manual 3/speed transmission (all orginal) & I want to install a , High Perforance -A GM 327 c.i. engine with a 4 speed manual transmission , electric fan to cool the radiator . Does any one out there know of any infomation on this? Also , I plan to install headers w/ duel exhaust.

these type of cars...civics...with little v4 engines! how much money would they put in it to make it peform as a good as a mustang (gt), trans am, or infinit g35 something that is meant for racing....would you spend alot less money and get just as good performance in a car? or would it just maybe be faster....I don't care that much for speed as long as its not slow....I mean after you put a turbocharger on that civic or something or a supercharger etc...to the point where you made it fast....it really wouldn't save you that much money on gas anywhere right even if it is a v4 ...I have nothing against hondas...there reliable cars and get good gas mileage..but it does look lame on the streeet when it sounds like a lawnmower and if its like a hatchback it looks funny....looks like fast and the furious wannabes that is so old already
