With companies like Chrysler, GM, and Ford....with unreliable cars that may make it past 130k miles if lucky, horrible depreciation to ensure you will be upside down in car debt, and poor build quality along with poor parts.....Why do people buy these cars? It's just asking for trouble. I've had an Acura and never had problem one with it but when I was dumb and bought american made cars I was constantly in the shop, had one blow up on me and was always upside down in car debt.

I want an old car..maybe a Mercedes or a Ford. I want something from the years 1970-1979. Would it be wise for me to purchase a car that is older versus a newer model? I am not sure what to expect. I was thinking older cars would be easier to fix..I dont know much about cars. Can anyone help, please? Thanks:)

This is kind of a poll to find out which car or SUV women like to "be seen in", ride in, or drive. This can be any vehicle whether sports car, luxury car, or other. I was just curious.

Nearly every Mercedes AMG and BMW M can only attain a top speed of 155 mph or 186 mph. Why limit a cars true performance. For example a Mercedes SL65 AMG has 604 hp but what goof is that if it can only reach 155 mph instead of a possible 190?

Does anyone have data or comparisons of Roller reliabilty? it is easy to compare most major marques (JD Powers) but there seems to be a dearth of info on Rolls, one suspects that the legendary reliability is just that, a legend and one does not compare oneself with the hoy poloy especially when they can crucify you. e.g. Lexus.

I have recently been looking at Land Rovers on Craigslist. I noticed the later 90s models are ranging from 3 to 6 thousand. I was just curious as to why these upper class luxury vehicles have such a value loss in ten years? is there major mechanical problems in these models?

I would greatly appreciate it. I've tried classified car ads, craigslist, and a couple other sites but I still can't seem to find one. Just give me anything u can find. A website or someone including yourself that sells them. It would be better if its custom made already including: Interior, paint, rims ('22 or ^), sound system. if it doesnt a caprice in good condition would be fine also.

so is the 1995 Camaro Z28 (5.7 liter LT1 350ci) actually bigger in cubic inches then the 2004 pontiac gto 5.7 liter LS1 346ci now i also gotta know what is the exact measurement for the 2004 gto LS1 engine is it a 346 or 348 not exactly a 350 in actual cubic inches see because the LT1 350ci is an older engine so back in 1995 they made the actual size exactly 350 cubic inches so the 2004 gto engine is an actual 346-348 cubic inch engine am i right am i right?

I have fond memories of my 1994 MIATA, and of my 1988 CAMARO and 1984 CHRYSLER LEBARON convertibles.

The Miata was a bit crampy but nimble, the Camaro was nice, the Chrysler was stodgy but cute.

How about you?
