Gimme Gimme Gimme.... I'll take the landcruiser any day over the lexus, when it comes to off road or creature comforts the land cruieser out strips the lexus anyday.

Depending on the application. Are you going offroad? If so, the landcruiser will bury the lexus.
If you are just looking for a good safe road vehicle the lex is a great choice, but remember - Toyota makes Lexus. It is their high end line.
The cost difference is minimal, so base your decision on the aplication. Land Cruisers are known for their rugged abilities. Lexus is known for luxury, comfort, and speed.

both are built upon same engine and chassis. cosmetics and appliance upgrades mark the lexus LX470. if you are a performance buff consider GX470 which also has the same engine but is a ton lighter making it very sportsy and lively. i have one for 4 or 5 years and it performs better than a "sports car" that i also have with flawless mechanics ,comfort and respectable gas mileage.

Depends on what LX your talking about LX 470 is the same truck with luxury fratures.
