The land speed record is 1228 km/h if I remember correctly, so yes there is. Of course that "car" doesn't have a lot to do with the kind of cars you normally see.

There's been several, at least. The Bonneville salt flats have been the home for speed record attempts for years. The ThrustSSC was the first to break the sound barrier, and went at a little over 1200 kph. Craig Breedlove's Spirit of America went faster than 800 kph in 1964.

there is no street legal car on this planet tht can do this kinda speed the Fastest is the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, But the SSC Thrust Aero with Turbo Fan and has Achived speeds of 1200+km/h or 700+mp/h, and thts the world land speed record.

no. thats about 500 miles per hour. no production car can go that fast without a rocket engine attached to it.
