I have a 1960-2 door -Studebaker 'Lark' -- that had a small block V8 & manual 3/speed transmission (all orginal) & I want to install a , High Perforance -A GM 327 c.i. engine with a 4 speed manual transmission , electric fan to cool the radiator . Does any one out there know of any infomation on this? Also , I plan to install headers w/ duel exhaust.

Studebaker used their own V8 in '60, but around '64 they used the smallblock Chevy. I believe the two cars were basically the same, so parts from a '64-'66 should work.

Try Chassis Engineering motor mounts and trans crossmember. The rest won't be tough. The 327 Studebaker is no relation to the chevy, and the 64 with a chevy engine was an avanti, totally different car. Check a studebaker forum and google for more.

small block should work.
see if there is a studbaker fan club in your region or state for some help.

Man why you want to screw up that antique. Have you checked to see how much it is worth. Man that is a classic don't destroy it.

should bolt right in....old SB was chevy
