i have a 95 nissian altima gxe. recently it started dieing when at idle and while turning, then it will be hard to start if it will start at all-especially when it gets hot. I'll let it cool down and sometimes it will start and run ok for about 15 mins then same thing, or it won't start or hard to start and I'll have to try again later. There is no apparent reason that it dies out other than it seems to be heat related. replaced mass air flow sensor, egr solenoid, had intake leak and repalced intake gasket, taken to dealer and had checked out 6 times they were unable to properly diag the problem. the car is now in a regular car shop and they are having a hard time too. if there is any techs out there that have run accross this problem before please let me know what it is.

I have a nissan vanette and would like some alloy wheels for it (as my steel ones are rusted to hell) I am having a job finding some at a reasonable price to fit. They are 14" PCD 5 x 114.3 5.5J.

Does any one have any suggestions of other vehicles that fit this size so I could perhaps get some second hand?

My car won't start despite a new alternator, battery and water pump. Not to mention a new wiring harness, starter, and spark plugs no more than 3 years ago. I'm running out of options and I've been out of money. It's been finicky for the last 6 mo. (white smoke out the tail pipe, have to pump the gas to get it started, rpm fluxuating up and down, stuttering, occasionally dying in the road if I'm not quick enough on the gas) but now, all it does is click when I turn the key. Any suggestions? John Paul, are you out there?

Fan only works on highest speed since last week. From research it appears this is a very common failure on these vehicles. I can find the part online so I know what it looks like, but cannot see anything that looks like that under the hood or on the firewall.

I have a 96 Nissan Maxima GLE. Last week, i tried to start the car and nothing happened. No lights, no intererior lights, no cranks, no door locks, absolutely nothing, as if I wasn't even trying to turn on the ignition. (Earlier in the week, my stereo system also died, which i dont know if its associated with it.) So I assumed it was the battery, bought a new battery for it, and everything worked fine, even got the radio working again. Checked the alternator and it was fine from Advanced Auto. Two days later, same thing happened, nothing was working when I tried to start it. I even tried to jump it but it didnt work, the car still showed no signs of life. What could be wrong? Is something draining the battery? Could it be the starter? THANKS!

I use my Xterra to tow my 18ft. Larson bowrider. Gross weight of boat and trailer is 3500lbs. which leaves me 1500lbs. to spare, but entrance ramps and long grades can be amusing. I've seen programming kits that use OBDII to program the chip, but only for Chevy Ford Mopar. I'd like something reversible cause of warranty. Or do I have to go the header, intake, or supercharger route?

Alright, I have a Nissan Sentra (2002) 1.8 Ltr 1 owner, bad maintenance record, I changed the oil today, and the car is stalling out. It will start after a bit of trying, but will die after one or two minutes. I am thinking its 1. the fuel filter, 2. the fuel pump (not likely), 3. the Fuel injectors (clogged) but thats where it is yet. It gets picked up tomorrow and put in the shop to see if anyone is correct. Timing seems to still work as the engine runs normally for its brief minute before stalling out.

I own a six month old 2006 VW GTI. I've recently fallen in love with the Nissan 350Z. And as much as I've put into my GTI and have enjoyed it, it's kinda pissing me off. Electronic malfunctions specifically. I've read (on Yahoo! Answers no less) that Nissan is THE most reliable car manufacturer out right now. The GTI is bought and paid for and I'll get about 20,000 for it after taking out the subs and amps and selling them on the side. So i'll have relatively low payments. I'm hoping maybe some Z owners can give me some recommendations. How the pain at the pump is, is the thrill worth the lack of room? Things like that. I learned stick in my GTI and now I'm hooked. I looooove performance. I'm starting to form an addiction. Sub question: Any other reccommendations? P.S. I just got married and we just bought her an 06 RSX Type-S, so money is a factor. Thanks for your time guys. Let the battle commence.
