My knock sensor is bad.But its been so long I dont know if its worth it.

Mine is bad.And I run on premium only.

185 dollar part and two foot long extention and 12 mm universal joint socket and ten minutes actuall time. The mechanic will charge you 1.5 hours and clear your code. However 1995 to 1999 maximas also can engine wiring harness issues. The cars I change Knock Sensors on seem to run better because with open circuit P0325 code the engine timing is only about + 15 degrees instead of advancing to more powermaking +35 degrees. Of course you will get the knock sensor in and the airflow meter will take a dive. Or the transmission will fail.

It will save your engine if you get some bad gas :(

why would it make any difference unless the one on there is bad???
