Right hand drive cars are dangerious to drive in the US. Posting Bond for the full value of the car that will only be released when the emissions and saftey items are done to bring the car up to us spec? EPA, DOT photos sumissions could take a year to clear customs unless you buy one cut in half for parts. Whole un smashed up Skylines are hard to find. A new 350 Z with modifications can out run, handle and out stop a 15 year old skyline. And parts are available if you should drift into a curb. Good Luck!

Contact Motorex, they are licenced importers of Skylines in the US. Unless the model you are looking for is older than 15 years, you won't be able to register it (in Ontario, anyway).

In canada they have to be 15 years or older, and many companies have a very fast service, you pay like 10000$-20000$ depending on the model, mileage, and modifications, they take care of the inspection, and the car is plated. Now is it the same in the US? I dont know, but in Canada it's getting easier and cheaper to get a JDM car.

Hey Buddy you should tell that dumass Japanese guy to wake up, open his closed eyes and get a real car from Japan. Don't get any junk from USA.

Buy the Engine/Transmission. Then buy the body seperatly. Ship them here and assemble them. Make sure they are all the same year and everything..
Then REGISTER it as a "KIT CAR". You get around import laws as well as emissions laws!
