I use my Xterra to tow my 18ft. Larson bowrider. Gross weight of boat and trailer is 3500lbs. which leaves me 1500lbs. to spare, but entrance ramps and long grades can be amusing. I've seen programming kits that use OBDII to program the chip, but only for Chevy Ford Mopar. I'd like something reversible cause of warranty. Or do I have to go the header, intake, or supercharger route?

Supercharger VG-33 motor has different ECM's TCM and wiring. By the time you investigate all of your options and find out only about 10% more power is not easy. You could have traded in that 160 hp Xterra for a new 269 horse power 4.0 liter Xterra or better yet a Pathfinder! Or just take the TITAN plunge.
