Why are they making compact cars even smaller?

look at the 2005 nissan sentra and look at the 2007 one......YOU TELL ME THAT THE NEW ONE IS SMALLER!!!!!! don't believe me go to the website...

honda not stupid they're making there cars bigger. the civic is big but the 2007 elantra the 2007 sentra and some more cars that i can't think of right now... are getting smaller.

Sorry 2007 sentra is bigger I sat in one I made ready last Friday. Saw the car at Detroit Car show last February. Almost as big as a 2001 altima inside and more rear seat room. Feature packed and shocking price tag! $20,000 but the Versa $12,999 to $18,000 drops into the space where last sentra was. idk man...when the civic first came out it was pretty small, now it's the size an accord was back then...and now an accord is the size of normal american cars. i think they're getting bigger.
