Hey guys, I have a 1989 Honda Accord LX. Now I know a lot of engine mods are based on fuel injected and only work for fuel injected cars (i.e cold air intakes), but I was wondering if anyone knew of some engine mods that are possible on a carbeurated car like mine. I just want something to give it more HP and TORQUE if possible until i can purchase my new engine for it. Oh and by the way, does anyone know of a good dealer for new engines, cause lets face it, my car only pushes out about 95HP, and i want something that can push out a considerable amount more than that w/o breaking a dent in my pocket if you know what i mean.

I've been asking many questions about this on here and have gotten plenty of great answers; i just want to be right. I'm looking for a new exhaust for my del Sol and saw that Greddy makes 2 (im interested in) I want it to have the nie deep "purring" sound. Do they sound like that or are they that whiny farting noise ricers make? The two model types are the SP2 and the EVO2. How do they sound? Thanks a bunch

I just got a new Honda Fit and I want to know how many mileage should I drive on the city local roads before it is good for the Fit to run on the highway?

I heard that any cars should run on the highway once in a while for the engine to last longer and better, but not when you just bought a new one.

So how long should I wait?

I'm thinking of buying a 1999-2002 Honda Odyssey minivan. Unfortunately I've heard some stories about the transmissions on these mininvas being troublesome. Now I don't want the opinions of just a handful of people influence my decision. Hondas are known for their quality so I find it hard to believe that there would be any problems. I see these vans all over the place so they can't be all bad. Any one have any info to share with me?

I have a '95 Accord automatica transmission. For everyday driving, do I shift to D4 or D3? I normally use D4 because it is one step down from neutral.

This car already run 2700 miles after head gasket blown. i checked with honda. Estimation for replace gaskets / repair is $900 (1 yr parts / 1 yr Labour warranty). Same I checked with some other auto shop, they estimated $513. (1 yr parts / 90 days Labour warranty.) So which option I shud go. Honda or local shop. Just to inform u that Radiator alredy replaced.

Civic 87 1.5L Carburated After Motor Head replacement the car won't start. Timing marks all aligned. It only starts if I advance the timing moving the distribuidor too far advanced (bolt removed) Once it starts the timing can be set again back to 20 BTDC ... what is wrong ? Could be the ignition not advancing the timing for starting ?

i am looking for some name brand air fliters for my 06 si.

not the whole intake system. just to replace that square shaped stock filter inside the filter box.

i have looked into K&N and they seem like a good choice..pricy, but they says lifetime and just clean the filter..never throw it away. plus, they says to inrease accleleration and HP.

The timing belt in my 93 honda accord went out going about 45mph,i then paid someone 150 dollars to put in the new timing belt and it began to shake and he told me that the valves were bent.....i went to a local mechanic and he told me that the valves in honda accords dont bend...is this true?and how much is an average cost to repair the valves and pay someone to do all this?can i do it myself?
