The 2 best things you can do to it to boost horsepower is 1: Port and polish. This will help boost horsepower by apprx 50%. 2: Get a turbocharger, this will also boost horsepower by apprx 50%. So if you have 120hp civic, you will have apprx 200+ HP. To make sure your car can handle it all you will need a high flow cat back system with performance exaust and some good racing tires to grip the road. These are you best prospects for the most % increase.

I own a '93 Civic EX and the top speed you can go is 114 mph. That is where teh fuel cuts off. I've done this so you can take my word for it.
As far as making it faster...hmm the Port and Polish WILL NOT give u 50% more power, that dude has no idea what he's talking about. Turbo would give it about 60-75 HP at the wheels which is pretty good for a civic becuase it's light. Also Exhaust, Intake and Headers/High Flow Catalyc Converter and so on. These are all very typical mods but it will be way faster if you put time and money into it.
My '93 civy runs a 10.89 1/4 mile. I have all the mods i listed above plus more. Good luck!!

92-95 ex and si came with a d16z6 sohc vtec, puttin out 125 hp. the 5 speed version has the p28 ecu, which cuts fuel off at 112mph. Im not 100% sure if it's the same for an automatic. Check your owners manual, it'll say, i just don't feel like gettin up.
oh by the way, port and polish is not gonna give you 50% more power, thats just plain stupid. if that was the case nobody would spend thousands of dollars on a turbo rig when they could port and polish the head for less than half a paycheck.

yeah, what the guy said above me works, also for simple mod, get a cold air intake, aftermarket sparkplug wires, and believe it or not most people dont know it, but even by putting a spoiler on your car increases your power, it has to do with aerodynamcs though, not your engine obviously. But the intake and sparkplug wires alone wont boost a whole lot, maybe 5-7 HP added on to stock.

question is kind of vague, but a stock 93' honda civic EX will do the quarter mile in about 17 seconds, very slow..... how fast will it go as far as top speed, no clue..... here is a link to cars which are stock and their quarter mile times...

dump enough money into it and you can run 9's...... no matter how fast it goes, if you put aftermarket exhaust on it, it will still sound like gay *** fart pipe exhaust
