i am looking for some name brand air fliters for my 06 si.

not the whole intake system. just to replace that square shaped stock filter inside the filter box.

i have looked into K&N and they seem like a good choice..pricy, but they says lifetime and just clean the filter..never throw it away. plus, they says to inrease accleleration and HP.

if you know any other brands.. then hit me up

Amsoil, they are cheaper than K&N and are better.
The only K&N filters I know that last forever are the intake system ones, the regular replacements I have seen do not last forever. They say they last forever, but once they get older they need lots of cleaning or oiling and that stuffs pricey too. Sorry forgot that. Here go here to compare...https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/eaa.aspx

If you want to clean them get K&N,

For disposable ones buy the cheapest ones available.

They usually flow better than expensive ones.
Less material for the air to go through. In the store count the amount of folds in the filter material for comparison.

K&N, air raid, and there are a few others but they are all in the same price range, the K&N is a great filter and has been around for years unlike some of the others.

OEM or Fram. Don't get the ones you clean. Get the throw away ones.
