we bought the car used, about a month or so after buying it, it wouldn't start (it's a Ford Contour SE by the way) We took it to Ford to have em look at it, and they found that the starter needed to be replaced. About a month after we had that done it wouldn't start again and we took it back and they told us it was a faulty part and replaced the starter again. It's been a little over a month now and the car is having the same problems. My fiance' has a theory it's electrical as we have had problems with the turn signals since we bought it too, Ford looked at it and said it was an electrical problem (with the turn signals) and they apparently fixed it. Now the turns signals have completely gone out so my fiance' tried replacing the fuses, but that did nothing. Which is why he thinks it may be connected to the problem with the starter, and that it may be electrical. I am just frusterated cuz Ford should know the most about a Ford car and if they can't find the problem, who can?

I read somewhere they were going to extend their basic warranty. What are they extending it to? Also, is gm and Chrysler still 3/36000?

I designed another vehicle for Ford. It has the name "Ford Showdown". I came up with some other names, the Conquerer and the Road Boss. Should I Keep the Showdown nameplate, or go with one of the two?

i've been reading that it sucks at mpg and is more expensive. In indiana the gas is at 3.15/g and ethanol is 2.99/g. soooo ethanol is cheaper. and my car currently has unleaded gas in it but its ethanol compatiable (ford taurus 00) can i fill the rest of the tank up with ethanol? will it cause a prob?!

I want to buy a ford mustang but I want the older version. I am trying to get my drivers liscense eventually. But I was just curious as in who on here owns one and what year(details) and why they've got one? What do you like about the cars? Why is it the best ride to have? I really like them because they seem fast and I like the style and shape of them. They seem like really good cars to own. And for some reason that's my dream car. What would be like to own one?
