just go underneath should be 2 bolts and the disconnecting of a couple of wires... where goggles sand and dirt in the eyes sure is a bummer

I dont consider working on a vehicle really easy, but the fastest way is to go out, climb under the truck, and change it, the easiest way is to pay somone else.

Can't you go in from underneath or is it one of those trucks that has tons of stuff in the way?

Spend the money and take it to the mechanic. It will save your knuckles!

Depends on the yr. They are 2 types. But a little more work and less typing and you can have it off in 10 mins. Well I can anyway.

With an acetylene torch. You didn't specify if you ever wanted to be able to use it again.
