For the money you would spend on a supercharger you could easily attain the same if not more horsepower by putting a heads and cam package on your car with a full intake and exhaust. Dont get me wrong a SC will give you lots of power quick but without the rest of your car prepared for it you could break stuff real easy. If that doesnt convince you and you are looking into a SC I would go with a Kenne Belle SC they are the considered the best for the Mustang.

A supercharger offers raw power immediately, whereas the turbo charger has a distinctive power lag-- some people prefer this lag (the lag is caused by the fact that the exhaust actually drives the turbo).

for the relaxed streetability, super. power always on tap. Easier to set up, use.

but you can tune a turbo setup to minimize the turbo-lag. You'll still need to pay attention to revs, spoolling the turbo, timing--but, hey, that just makes the "driving experience" more invovled, and that's as much fun as the power.
