Have booked from NJ to Atlanta in the next couple of weeks. Is the airline any good, you hear bad reports about Delta, so I just wondered if anyone had any experience of them? Thanks

The reason I ask is there must be an environmental impact of dumping fuel over populated areas such as Richmond/Kew near Heathrow but I have never heard any reports of peoples cars being covered in kerosene or gardens lawns being killed off!

We are flying to New York this weekend - about an hour and fifteen minute flight for us. My daughter is 1 and she will be sitting on my lap for the flight. Does anyone who has flown with a small child have any advice for keeping her occupied? I don't want to annoy the other passengers with toys and things that make noises if I can help it. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Also, does anyone know if I can take her sippy cup with juice or snacks in our carry-on? I'm not sure what the new rules are as far as liquids and things. Thanks.

I would like to know the actual price of a 737-600/700, a 767-200/300 and a 747-400, and I know they are almost always bought on lease, so how much is a lease, and how much would it cost if you bought it in one go?

THE MYSTERY OF FLIGHT 587
(The FBI Will Never Find the Terrorist Who Caused the Crash)
The Phoney War in Afghanistan (Part 5)
"A Scientific Analysis of the Events Causing the Crash"
(BJNews, November 15, 2001) On Monday, November 12, 2001 American Airlines Airbus A300 Flight 587 crashed and burned, just two minutes and 24 seconds after take off from JFK International Airport in New York City. Within minutes the speculation for the cause ran from aircraft failure to terrorist attack. Immediately, both the FBI and the NTSB began a formal investigation. The NTSB was in charge of investigating the crash and the FBI would take over if evidence of sabotage were found. So far, the investigators have eliminated a number of possible theories, such as birds damaging the engines, simple engine failure, or possible bomb or missile attacks.

Hi, I saw a documentary about verticaly landing air craft, and one of them was a plane that landed by hanging on a frame. It had a loop at the end of its nose and a hook on the frame and the pilot had to hook it on. These were mailny for airships. No one belives me that this ever existed, so can anyone tell me what that plane was called and where I can see pictures or a video of it in action?

Thanks.

I don't know if this is true or not, but hear me out. Someone told me that the mall was designed to be a flight runway incase the Queen/King was in danger (before the harrier jet and helicopter was invented). The flagpoles can be dismantled and a small plan could easily land in. Is this true???

If I weighed 9 stone and my bag was 10 kg over the limit, they charge me. But a guy weighing 15 stone with a bag up to the limit doesn't pay more, yet he would 'cost' more to fly in terms of fuel use.

I was in a car the other day, my husband driving, when something hit the front window. We both went "what was that?" He then casually said "oh, someone probably flushed a frozen pea or something down the loo on a plane" Is it true, that they chuck out "stuff" from a great height? Where does it really go, and what really happens to it?
