Any aircraft can travel to Europe in an hour, from Turkey, the CIS, or Morroco.

The fastest aircraft to cross the Atlantic was the SR-71 and it did it in just under 2 hrs.

The Da Vinci Code is pure fiction.

The scramjet is under devolopment and has been tested in-flight. It is as close to the fictional aircraft in Dan Brown's novel as it gets. Supersonic passenger planes will soon become practical, because new research is on the verge of designing a wing that can supress the shock wave that causes the sonic-boom. The Concorde was only allowed to fly faster than the speed of sound when over uninhabited areas such as the oceans, because of the sonic-boom.

ok to i go to italy and it takes about 6 hrs...so its about 6000 miles. to get there in 1 hr. u need a plane to travel 6000 miles per hr. not even SR-71 can go that fast its top speed is about 2000 mph.... i took it 1.5 hrs to get from NY to london.... the concord took about 2 hrs.....so your plane u are talking about is probobly a militay secret or just non exsistint
