Try the Jeppessen homepage. Honestly, I haven't downloaded any approaches before so they may charge for them.

i might start up with employing the Autopilot, and spot the way it handles diverse wind perspective, nighttime/day, pitch physique of strategies (on the physique of strategies indicator), and vertical velocity indicator. as quickly as you notice how the pc does it, then you could start to click off the autopilot earlier the airplane touches down, and after some prepare, you may have the skill available fly the entire physique of strategies via hand. A key in enjoying the flight sim is to apply very gentle enter, or substitute the sensitivity on your joystick, because of the fact abrupt enter once you're close to to floor often skill you will no longer land instant you purpose at. have confidence me, real planes are plenty much less complicated to fly than flight sim.

I'm not instrument rated, but I think I recall AOPA having approach plates. Also, are you familiar with the AOPA Real Time Flight Planner software? That is a great source and I'll betcha a ground loop in a Citabria that you'll find it there!

In the future when you want to view approach plates, you can find them at FAA's website here:
http://naco.faa.gov
From the left hand menu select 'Free Online Products', then select
'Product digital - Terminal Procedures Publication (d -TPP) and Airport Diagrams'
Then select
'digital - Terminal Procedures' (Pick whichever one is most recent)
Then select the state, then select the airport

If you go on to www.airnav.com and search for LGA under the airport tab - the information for the airport will come up. They have all of the information regarding the runways and approaches listed.
