i recently split with my husband- he is the father of my son, but not my daughter. i want to claim tax credits for myself and my daughter, as i only work parttime. problem is, me and my husband are still living in the marital home, as it is jointly owned. he is willing to pay for our son, but not my daughter. her biological father is not on the scene (he hasn't seen her for yearsand i nelieve he is in prison). am i entitled?

I worked in the UK for 2 years and have been back for a while now.

What I would like to know is if there is any time-limit on how long I have to get this sorted out.

Would also like to know what the easiest way to go about this is if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks...

We are thinking of starting up our own business since my partner lost his job last month and we have had an excellent response to our leaflet drop. Now we want to know how much we can earn before we have to declare our business/income to the tax man as we've only been doing small jobs for the last week and a half.

We're taxed to hilt in Britain. People say that the American rates of tax are a fraction of what they are here in Britain. Is this true?

There is a petition on the 10 Downing St website but they didn't tell
anybody about it. Only 250,000 people have signed it and 750,000 signatures are required for the goverment to at least take any notice.
Once you've given your details (you don't have to give your full address, just house number and postcode will do), they will send you an email with a link in it. Once you click on that link, you'll have signed the petition.
The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it. The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver.
A non working mother who used the car to take the kids to school paid £86 in one month.

On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. Think about that!

Plus VAT, and Council Taxex, 1 million pounds average per street in parking fines, 3 million extra people paying taxes, living in rooms cause the goverment had built 20 000 council flats in 10 years.

3 million tourists a month in London, paying of course also all sort of taxes plus the congestion charge that had produced 500 million pounds in 2 years, was intended to improve Transpor for London, Transport for London had not improved, but had consolidated as the most expensive system on earth with two raising fares in 2 years.

14 000 nurses short, NHS closing dependencies, but in the article here below you can see how the PRINCE HAS 11 000 POUNDS TO SPENT IN BOOZE IN ONE NIGHT.

THIS IS WHY THEY JUST WANTED TO PUT THE TAXES BUT NOT TO SPEAK ABOUT LEVELS OF CO2, GOALS OR COMPROMISE, THIS IS WHY THEY DIDN'T SAY WHERE THE MONEY WOULD BE SPENT, NOW YOU KNOW...
