I am seeking some info before we file our taxes. My husband and I just had a baby on December 7. Are we supposed to add our daughter on our 2007 Tax Return? Do you get a credit for children? If so how much?

Sorry if these questions seem so elementary.

We got married and bought our first home this year. We had both claimed 0 before, but now it is more important to receive more in our paychecks each pay period than worry about receiving large refunds. We both earn around $30k/year, and have no children. We would ideally like to break around even or end up owing slightly. Should we each claim 2?

Many affiliate program requires to submit a W-9 and/or 1099 form.
For example, Incentaclick requires to send a 1099 form.

I am under 17 years old living in the United States. I have my own incentive site, which i pays members for signing up for services.

Can you guys tell me what will happen if i send a W-9 form, (i heard it doesn't affect me, it just a form to prove the company's earning)

How about 1099 form?(i heard that it affect me, i will have to file my taxes)

As i stated, i am under 17 years old. My family is receiving health benefits from the government. I don't want to affect my family benefit. I think that the W-9 form doesn't affect me or my family, and the 1099 form does.

Is there anyway to make my income or me separated from my parents? So it doesn't affect their income and benefits?

Thank You.Please help me

I incorporated and not sure if I should file my wages as "Componsation of officers" (line 12 in the 2006 1120 form)
or as "Salaries and wages" (line 13)
I do file 1040 as well for myself.
thank you.

Last year in February, my sister moved into my apartment with her four kids (two are hers by birth and two are her boyfriend's kids) My sister didn't lose her job, but she has been saving money, so I had been taken care of the bills, food, and other neccesities. I have been buying clothes for all four kids. I do not want to commit fraud in any way, so I'm asking is it possible for me to claim the two children that are not hers

As anyone on Social Security will tell you even though they get a bit more money each year it is far less then the cost of living. So yes the Federal SS system instead of being cut off at once is being fazed out and state aid is replacing it so to speak. The deal with State aid is you can have little assets in order to recieve it. So to live a decent life you will need assets outside of the Money system before you become disabled and have to live on state aid for some two years before you can get SS income started. Besides Gold and silver what some other things one could have to get monies out of your name.

I just watched this video about how there is no law stating that we have to pay an income tax. What does that really mean? We all know that if we don't pay taxes, we go to jail. Netters, what is your opinion on this?

I once worked as an independent contractor (We're talking about 8 years ago). The person who hired me then told me that as long as my pay was under $600 that he wouldn't need to give me a w-2.

Now I run a small company that just grew enough to hire independent workers, and I need to know if I have to make w-2's for them.

SO, is there an amount where I DON'T have to provide a W-2?
