yup my inlaws live outta state and I've returned a few of the things they've bought at Target. As long as it was bought at a Target you can return it to any Target.

As long as you have the receipt is fine at any store in different state, you don't need to call, don't waste a phone call.

I would think if you have the sales slip and tags are still on, you should be able to. I would call ahead to check on store policy. May save time and gas.
