If you work for a company that pays all or part of your hospitalization does that company get a tax break or some other form of compansation?

Yes, they can deduct the payments on their tax return, so don't have to pay tax on that much of their income.

Sure they do. It's treated the same way as if they paid for your health insurance. I've worked for several companies that self-insured healthcare benefits.
