I have noticed that some gas stations charge a sales tax for chips and other pre-packeged snacks while others do not. Why is that?

I watch my friends 2yr old 5 days week 10 hrs or more a day..she pays me $80.00 a week for this and deducts for days she misses and holidays. The average daycare around here is between $105 to $120 a week. So recently I told her in couple weeks I was gonna change it to $90 a week and that she would have to pay whether or not she comes or if there was a holiday. And her reaction to this was "Well if I have to pay every week then I want to claim this on my taxes so I get a deduction." So I would like to know what I would have to pay on my taxes to do this?...or how do I file this the end of the year and what do I have to do? And more importantly is it worth watching her anymore?? Thanks

My annual salary is INR 1,44,000. I am paying INR 5400 towards repayment of education loan (interest and principal combined), starting from May, 2006. The repayment period is 48 months. I have no savings except an LIC policy with a monthly premium of INR 200. My employer gives no HRA but I am paying INR 2500 as rent. Will I be able to save the entire tax amount of INR 4400?

Mother has never reported getting alimony from my father for whatever reason. What kind of trouble can she get into, as I know alimony counts towards income? I wish to report this but wonder what trouble it may cause to her new husband.

I need to know exactly what forms I must fill out and exactly what fees need to be paid, so I can do things legitimately via ebay. I am already established and am just now starting to make profits. Everytime I try to do research via the internet or the local Small Business Association, they all start off with the the same thing - "Make a business plan", "Apply for a loan". "I DON'T NEED A BUSINESS PLAN AND I DON'T NEED FINANCING FOR THE BUSINESS!!" With very low maintenance, I am just selling an inventory of items on the side, and don't want to get busted down the road for not paying taxes. I know every state is different, but like I said, I just need to be spoon fed, where I go what I fill out, and what fees I must pay. I have already decided I would probably want to be a LLC.

If you own two "s" corporations and one has been in business for years and the other fails can the loss of that second corporation be listed on the 1120s form of the profitable, still in business, one? If so - what line does that loss go on?
