can you prepare a tax return?

I am taking a tax preparation course and ai am stuck on a problem. its midterm and i have the final answer but dont know where i goofed up?

But to answer your first question, you bet your sweet bippy I can prepare a tax return. Every year, I do a few returns that take an entire ream of paper to print out. Now that's what I call a tax return, baby, none of this namby pamby 1040EZ stuff.

Have been doing tax returns for 36 years on top of two college degrees in Business and Accounting. In the 36 years of hands on practice I have also worked in the IRS/VITA program and am now the only person in that program that has been active since its inception. State the problem exactly as it appears and I will walk you through the answer.
