If I get a job,
and have money,
I want to be able to get a checking account.

Thing is I am only 16.

Can I still get a checking account?
Would it have to be under my name?
Or would my mother have to co-sign or whatever?

Recently (1 mo) married. Looking to transfer home and some other assets into a trust or llc or corporation. Want to protect assets from divorce, entry into nursing home, and eventual death. I was thinking the way to go would be file a corporation in a state that does not require to disclose shareholders, but I'm not sure about the legal and tax implications of transfering proprty into it and also of not being able to show that I was compensated for the property. Any informed comments?

Here is my story.
I am a 27 year old married mom of 2. Hubby is bipolar and can't work. I have a few medical ailments that prevent me from working much outside of the home.
We have about $15,000 of debt. Counsumer credit card, past utilities, medical expenses, etc.

We WANT to pay them off. Our problem is we don't know if we should work with a debt consildation program or simple file for bankruptcy. Our income fluxuates from $800 a month to $1500. We live in Ohio. Our rent is $605.00. We have no car payments. We own a 1982,1992,1993) We never go out to eat, go to movies, I am wearing the same clothes from when I was 18. Trust me, there is no way to cut back on anything.
I am just not sure if we can even afford to come up with a debt consilidation plan given our situation and income limits. Would it be better both emotionally and financially to just wipe the slate clean? Thoughts/Tips/Appreciated...stinky butts need not answer! THANKS!

I'm turning 17 this month, and my mother is making me break down....she reads all my information on my computer, takes my webcam that I paid for away, 2 times. What a stupid, noisy b*tch....she tells my information to my granny, which I told her not to. Looks up my boyfriends house online to find out how much it's worth and about the taxes. We have a long distance 4 year relationship....she broke up my other boyfriends and I that lived here by being noisy and reading my email. I'm going to work as a nurse's aide this summer full time at a hospital. it makes 11-12 dollars an hour. i want to buy my very own car and be ready to move out in a year. My boyfriend lives in Fl, so we are moving down there. He makes a lot of money in his own business so he said he would pay for everything while I went to college..about 800 a day..could we make it on our own? I mean, could I make it on my own without him?

My parents bank account was closed today by the bank (not saying any names) ..::cough:: Bank of America ..::cough::..

They closed it without warning and kept my parents and my college funds with them (67k +)

My parents called the IRS to make sure everything was fine, and no problems there.

My mom went to the bank to ask why her account was closed but no answes were given to her but instead she was kicked out by security.

Is there anyway we can find out what happened?

One day I go to a ATM to deposit money ($100) So I stick in my card and by mistake I put in a $20 in the Envelope Deposit slot. When I realized this I checked to see if I could withdraw it and hit withdraw $100 by mistake and it did and my balance didnt change at all. I liked it so I did it two more times that day. I did it two more times today. All together like $500. But then I realized that I might get in trouble.. Do you think my bank will notice that I did this and if they do, what kind of problems might I be looking at??

I need to get back on my feet financially, and I need to get an installment loan to do it. I have $4,500.00 in outstanding debt, plus four payday loans that I took out, (like a moron). If I could just get these things paid off, making payments on an installment loan wouldn't be a problem. But right now I live paycheck to paycheck, and I barely have enough to make my monthly bills, especially with those stupid payday loans hitting my account every week. I wish that I'd never taken them.

I have been living in my own place for about 2 years, and I have only one tv which is in the bedroom. Right now my boyfriend (who I don't live with) and I have been spending less time together because I feel so crowded because all we seem to do is lay around in the bedroom and watch tv. It's so crowded in my room so we have been arguing a lot.
At the same time, I have a lot of bills to pay. Do I take the extra money coming in and buy another TV or take all of it and pay bills? I think the extra TV might help the relationship, but I also have bills up the wazoo...What is your opinion?
FYI, the extra money is about $3500.

I'm currently investing about $400 per month into my 401k. I could really use that money for bigger home mortgage. Would it be a bad idea to cancel my savings so that I can afford a nicer place?

Thanks
