Start your own business. That is the best way. Another strategy is to start investing with the money you are earning. It might take you longer than 2 years. But if you start investing at age 16, you'll reach financial independence a lot sooner than your peers.

Another idea is to get a job and then maybe invest your money in real estate. But you'll have to do your homework.

Warren Buffet started out with almost nothing. He started as a paperboy. He had a system where he delivered papers for two papers at once, and he only delivered to apartment buildings / condos so it was more efficient that way.

Then he took his earnings from delivering papers and invested it in a pinball machine business where he rented pinball machines to barber shops. From this he bought used Rolls-Royce with a friend, they fixed it up and leased it out as a limo. He just kept building on what he was doing.

Daniel Ludwig was one of the most richest men in the world when he died. His fleet of ships was larger Aristotle Onassis. Ludwig was probably one of the richest people you probably never heard of. He got his start by buying a sunken ship in his youth, fixed it up and resold it.

Think of the businesses behind the scenes that make things happen. Transportation, commodities are where it is at. Salvage and recycling can be lucrative. The kinds of businesses where no one thinks about are the ones where the opportunities are.

Depends what you have to start with. This could be money, who you know, work ethic, knowledge, skills, mentors, etc. Find someone who has become a millionaire from 16 to 18 and do exactly what he/she did :).

You can't. Learn something now. Very few people are rich because very few people know what to do. Learn what to do. Face reality. Then become very prosperous. It can be done but you can't do it if you're a dreamer. You need to be realistic. The overwhelming majority of people who got rich got rich over a period of decades. Not in a year or two. Start saving now and learn how to invest properly. Devote a portion of all of your money (say 10%) solely to create wealth for yourself. You have one of the greatest assets there is. Time. Good luck kid.
