I just checked my bank account and it says I have a negative balance. I guess what happened was Friday I paid my rent and that next day (Sat.) it had already posted to my checking account. I was supposed to be paid that same Friday as well. My employer was late with our checks and I had to wait until Saturday to get my money, unfortunately by that time it was too late. The rent check had already posted and I did not have enough in the account to cover it. I checked my account today and I have over $200.00 in overdraft fees, and my paycheck still hasn’t posted. So I was being charged on all those little things I purchased like gas, food, etc. If I call my bank and explain what had happened is it possible to have those removed? I bank with Bank one and have never had any other account problems. I though I was ok since I wrote the check Friday and was going to deposit the money on Saturday, but my apartment complex beat me too it.
