Is there a way to fix my credit rating? For example, getting rid of bankruptcy, forclosure or any other delinquent accounts from my credit report. How?

As others have already said, you can't remove legitimate information from your credit report (that is illegal). While bankruptcy does stay on your credit report for 7-10 years (depending on the "type"), most lenders are interested in what you have done in the 2-3 years SINCE you filed. If you keep up with your payments, don't open a lot of accounts, and have money in savings (a few thousand, not a couple of hundred), you will get decent rates.

So now, you need to make sure your bills are paid EARLY, you budget money for savings every paycheck, and you DON'T open a bunch of credit accounts.

You can't get rid of the bad information if it is accurate. The bankruptcy will stay on for 10 years. In the mean time pay your bills on time and do not get behind. If you do this, eventually your credit will begin to get better.

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.

I will hereby talk from my personal experience.

I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,

a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :
