pretty much ok with everything else, problem is...I dunno how to cook, and I'm always eating out and making impulse purchases on food..what am I to do? Tried learning how to cook, no success!

Buy only things that you have Coupons for. You will learn to shop more creatively to what you want to make and like. perhaps turn on the Food Network and try a different approach to learning how to cook.

If you're okay with everything else, what are you worried about?
Nobody's perfect. I'm assuming you can make a sandwich. Why not stock your fridge with good sandwich fixins'? How about salads? You can find all kinds of cool salad recipes. How about cereal? You can save some money on food this way but hey, if you enjoy eating out then do it! Money, food and life are to be enjoyed!
