Can a math wizard help me with this? If I used a credit card with a fixed APR of say 5%, would it cost me the same over the same lenght of time if i were to take out a loan with a bank for the same amount of money at the same 5% interest rate.

So lets say I take out a bank loan on a car and pay 250.00 a month for 36 months at X% interest rate,i would pay the bank $9000.

What if I used my credit card which offered the same X% interest rate for a promotional period of 36 months. I would pay the credit card $250 a month for 36 months. My question is does that pay off the loan just as the bank loan would have, or is the interest calculated different.

I don't have a permanent address in the US and I am staying at a friend's house can I have the bank send the ATM card to a branch instead of mailing it to my friend's address.

24 years old, Christian man, worship leader, songwriter, composer, an excellent Air Traffic Controller, an associate's degree in aeronautics, 8 classes from a bachelor's degree, okay with handling personal finances but could be better, never been bankrupt, in the military, know that people that get rich got there through business ownership, and a huge desire to better my financial situation and provide a comfortable life and future for my wife and kids(currently have only one kid).

They charge me £10 each time they ring me, email me and write to me telling me i m overdrawn. I was on holiday at this time and had no wayof knowing. Now i m £1000 overdrawn because of this. After speaking to them they said i cannot pay less than £120 a month. is this true? Can i find a way not to pay their unreasonable charges? What steps should i take? I m only 18 and a student and have a part time job that does not pay much.

i have this horrible habit of spending more [way] more than my income. both my husband and i work, when payday..comes i get excited about having money and go shopping like to target...yesturday thats what i did, and now i dont have enough for rent & the car insurance. i promise my self everytime that next payday i will not spend more than what i have to, because afterwards i feel awful, worried on how to pay the bills. i wanna go return the things i bought yesturday, wich are x-mas stuff ormanents, and my husbands x-mas gift. i hate leaving this way. i suffer from depresion, i will admit this brings me joy...but it only comes with worries after. i spent about $70 at K- mart for a pizza party my kids got invated to, i wanna return that, and not go. i know i should have a budget, but its almost impossible, it feels to good at the time with the money. my husband doesnt know this.
