The company is InPhonic and they are telling me I broke a contract with them I didn't know I had. I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau and their registration with the BBB was revoked a year ago due to a large number of unanswered complaints. There are over 3,000 complaints with this company in the past 36 months. Is there anything I can do to get out of paying this? I have a good credit score and they are already threatening to report it.

Credit Card compnaies seem to ignor my request to cancel, or give me an argument to cancel, even when cards have not been used for years. It is like they want to issue as many cards as possible and do not want to cancel any. Can they be reported to some government agency if they refuse to cancel on request.

It seems to me, that if you are living paycheck to paycheck - you actually lose money by banking...

You could spend $16 a month to cash your checks or you could spend $30 - $120 a month in over-draft fees by banking.

Do you agree?

I can't stand to see things thrown out that have practically nothing wrong with them. My clothes go from formal-work-gardening-garage rags- fire starters. My dishes and cups are all very nice, they just don't match; same with bedding, towels, furnature. I have no desire for a new vehicle. It runs fine even though it is 15 years old. Is this some kind of OCD or am I just remembering my childhood when we had to do with almost nothing?

I closed two accounts, I have excellent credit (745) and I made mistake of closing them (one was over 10 years old), neither with any balance. I am about to refinance my house and I want my score as high as possible. Is it worse to open those cards back up? One of them gives you 60 days to open it back up? But would that be worse?

I recently made the mistake of closing two inactive credit accounts. Now I hear this can have a negative effect. I am concerned because one of the accounts was a Sears card that was opened 11 years ago. I just recently got above 740 and I dont' want to jepordize my score.

Am I worrying over nothing? I still have plenty of unused credit, so it shouldn't affect my utilization too much.

I was wondering, if I went to an ATM right now and deposited cash, would I instantly have the money in my account? If not, would going to the bank and depositing cash through a teller make the money instantly available to my account?

My monthy payments are outrageous so I can barely afford it. My credit is horrible which is the reason the interest is so high. The car is only a few years old, but I owe several thousand more than it's worth.
