For debit transactions, ATM transactions, etc. from an American account. I heard that there were some countries that had earlier this year temporarily blacklisted Mastercard. Does anyone have personal experience?

I currently have a small hometown bank, which I love, but I am moving to another suburb and I work in Chicago, so I need something that has more locations and ATMs. I want something with no stupid fees and not a lot of hassle. I have narrowed it down to Fifth Third because they have the best location options relative to my office and my new home, and Bank of America because I really like the idea of the Keep the Change program, and their locations are pretty convienient as well. Does anyone have checking accounts at either of these, and have you liked it or had any problems?

Then why are there so few legal ways to accumulate large sums of money very quickly? Yet so many illegal ways that it's gotten so bad that people have actually resorted to scamming, ripping off robbing, backstabbing and double crossing other people in so many different ways shapes and forms for money that now it's hard to tell who we can or can't trust anymore?

I have a JVC 55" big screen TV. I purchased it two months ago brand new.
I've only watched it maybe 20 times, and was recently in a car accident so I'm looking to sell it to get rid of it, and to also make a little extra money that will help me out right now while I am out of work.

If I were to take it to a pawn shop, would I get anything about of it? (probably not, but I'm just curious) I bought the TV for $2600. I've listed ads on Craigslist and ebay, but no one has responded yet. I just want it out of my house.

whenever they screw up the account local branch refers me to head office and vice versa;the fact that they created the mistake and should sort it seems to escape their attention and they don' t seem to understand the problem-i live in fear of the next screw up

I spend a lot of time and effort shreading and my mail trash etc to make sure that my identity is not stolen. Then I get a cold call from a "loan broker" or possibly telemarketer posing as a "loan broker" or maybe even an "identity thief " posing as a loan broker and I give them everything they need to become me. How am I supposed to validate that they are ligit and aren't going to rip me off?
