My sister had to give up her tax return to the trustee. She got a letter today stating the trustee filed his final report and the balance on hand is $5,873.10. Total Disbursements are $0.00. Does this mean no one wanted any of the $$? What happens to the $$ sitting there? The trustee has already retrieved his $$ out of it. This would sure help her as a single mom now if that $$ was returned to her. Anyone been through this and gotten $$ back? (don't be a$$ holes and tell her to pay her bills, this is because of a nasty divorce and not because of not paying bills) ONLY FACT'S PLEASE!!!

After helping family & friends, I now find myself in financial need. Is anyone willing to invest in me?
I have helped family & friends in financial distress. But now that I am financially disadvantaged no one wants to help me. Is there any wealthy people looking to help someone get ahead? My fiance' is disabled so there is not much income help there. I want to pay off medical bills, property taxes, catch the mortgage up and remodel our home. My credit score is too low to do any financing.

I had targeted $1,200 for my employer-sponsored flexible spending account (FSA) for the entire year 2006 and used $900 through July. Up to July I had contributed $700 to the FSA plan. If I leave my job in August, will I need to repay the difference of the amount ($900-$700)?

Please include the source in your answer. While the answer to this question seems common sense, loopholes sometimes do exist.

I have received an e-mail (4th August) from lagstebanknl@aim.com claiming I have won £1,000,000.00 (Euros) - having checked with Euro Millions, you obviously need to buy a ticket and they would not ask the winner for any transfer monies etc., you would just receive a cheque direct

i had borrowed lot of money, like almost 20G from CreditCards and i cash advanced all the money into myaccount, since i didn't have debt that are over 4G, mostly collectors just call and sent me letters. iwill usually just throw them into the trash, and the phonecalls from collectors are usually made by computer, so when you picked up the phone and say hello, you will hear a pause in slience, that's when you know if the collectors calling, so you can just hangup immediately. its been a year now, and my money have been making me money in saving and investments, and who need credits when you have so much cash on your hands, right? America is Great! if i had done that in say Hong Kong, these Credit CArds companies would have hired collections to harass me at my place of residence, HAHA I LOve AMERICA!

This is a guy telling you that your approved for an auto loan and to wire him an escrow payment so you can drive off the lot with the car of your choice. Pay close attention. You never get to talk to him, its always e-mail and the address he provides is the address of a hotel in California. Shame on you Mr. Wallace.

I've been buying and selling stocks for several years now; however as I get older it I'm trying to round out my portfolio. What would be a good percentage breakdown of large, mid, small, international stocks/funds to have for a person in his late 20s.

As far as risk is concerned, I'm quite tolerant and comfortable with being very aggressive with equities.

Where can i find more information about this topic w/o having to fork out $150/hr for professional advice....
