This is a guy telling you that your approved for an auto loan and to wire him an escrow payment so you can drive off the lot with the car of your choice. Pay close attention. You never get to talk to him, its always e-mail and the address he provides is the address of a hotel in California. Shame on you Mr. Wallace.

I looked up the website out of curiosity. He's definitely ripping off Allstate's name. It doesn't appear that he's affiliated with them at all (the Allstate logo would be on the page).

Allstate was one of our clients at my old firm. I emailed my old contact ecause even if this guy wasn't a scam artist, its still a violation of a tradename. Thanks for the head's up.

Edited next day to add: Allstate's legal department emailed me this morning - he is fraudulently using their name. Thanks again from both myself and Allstate's attorneys for the post. Your note won my firm some great brownie points from Allstate (we may be doing some work for them in the future!).
