I have a JVC 55" big screen TV. I purchased it two months ago brand new.
I've only watched it maybe 20 times, and was recently in a car accident so I'm looking to sell it to get rid of it, and to also make a little extra money that will help me out right now while I am out of work.

If I were to take it to a pawn shop, would I get anything about of it? (probably not, but I'm just curious) I bought the TV for $2600. I've listed ads on Craigslist and ebay, but no one has responded yet. I just want it out of my house.

I don't know that TV so I have no direct knowledge of how much it is worth. Just thought I'd share an idea or two.

EBay is a good way to go. Often you don't get much activity until the last few hours/minutes. So a little patience may be required there. Also, be aware that if you go and pawn or sell it elsewhere, don't forget you have it listed at eBay.

Pawn shops are where people go when they're really desperate. They won't give you much for it. You might try a yard sale but it's a long shot, as most people don't plan to spend that much at a yard sale.

If you have a small electronics dealer in your area, and if you can wait a bit, they would probably be willing to take it on consignment (they pay you when it sells). At the right price, maybe they'd be willing to buy it.

Another place to try is the classified ads in the local newspaper. It's amazing how many people read those things.

Best of success.

Secured Personal Loans It Doesnt Get Easier Than This

There is a load of helpful information in this site as well as companies to explore loan options.

But don't pawn it if you can avoid it. Try a search on ebay for that model and see what the going price is.

Good luck....

Ask at a pawn shop how much they will give you and then try to sell it privately for more.

Have you tried e-Bay and friends and relatives who know you and trust you?
