it, will it still get through to the regular mail, in the regular amount of time? I'm asking since my daughter mailed our rent check in the express mail box and now I'm worried it will be late. It's only one town over where the envelope is going to.

I just recently sold a legit copy of Microsoft Office Pro 2003. They buyer opted to buy it now and the item was shipped out prior to eBay pulling it off giving me some b/s reason that Microsoft thought it was a pirated copy.

In the original listing (which is no unavailable) it states all sales are final. With that said the buyer just e-mailed me and told me they need to return the time (gave no reason why) and if a full refund could be given.

I explained all sales are final and no refund will be issued. Can she come after me because she paid with paypal even though in the listing it stated no refunds will be issued all sales are final but no eBay pulled it off and I have no proof of this?

Thanks to all who answered

ok so i received a check in the mail today for winning a contest worth 2550 and it seems to be real but im not sure.it has everything a real check does.anyway also i got a letter saying if i pay a processing fee 5% (using the money from the check) i can get a new check worth 38258$.everything is real, and they tried to call but i didnt pay my bill so they couldnt call so they sent me a letter.the letter seems real, and it has no typos and it has a real adress and it is legit as far as where the compnays is located(canada)i live in the us.the check even has a number and the paper has a ref number.it said call a *female, cant say name*and it was really her.is this a scam, because it doesnt sound as bad as the other scams out theyre.other scams tell us to pay them with our own money, but theyre asking us to cash a check and pay them.the check and letter are from utah.it sponsors were walmart and coca cola.

I was told by my Purchasing Manager that one our most important vendors refuses to kick back 15% to him. That hardly seems fair. My company gives him over a million dollars in orders a year!

While I can understand that the vendor may have cash-flow problems, there is no reason it can't be worked out on a long term pay back agreement.

My PM has bills to pay. And a rather large family to support. And, well, a few girlrfriends too.

I don't want to lose this vendor. What are your suggestions?

We currently track employee time and labor and jobs performed by use of a handwritten time slip. The production order number is provided to the employee via work instruction traveler. The employee's time slip resembles this at the end of shift
7-0111-001-02 .5 hrs
7-0112-001-55 .25 hrs
etc.... you get the point.
This seems highly inefficient to me and the amount of time that goes into checking for mistakes throughout the entire process is monumental.
Upper Mgmt complains constantly that time slips are not filled out properly and blame operators, i feel it is more of a system issue because very little is standardized and there is a lack of procedures and understanding.
Anyone have any suggestions? Is there a more updated system or method available?
Thank you very much

I just recently registered for some courses at my local college were I am also an alumni with a BS in Education. After registering I realized that this semester I was not in a position to attend school financially. I went to school this morning to resolve my bill and drop my courses. They are telling me that I owe them 25% of the bill which comes out to about six hundred dollars. I explained that I made a mistake in reapplying to the school and registering and spoke to them about my financial need. They do not want to hear it and said they want their money. What should I do next? Write a letter to the President of my school, or pay it and claim it on my taxes as a charitable contribution to my school. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I worked for an ex-colleague on a part-time basis (may be an hour for a day) . She used to pay after every two months. Our project has ended 1.5 months back and it is almost 3 months and did not receive any payment for the hours that i worked. We may again start on another project in couple of months. She also bought a house recently. She only owes me a few thousands dollars. Is it a good idea to ask for the payment now or wait for another month? If so, what is the best way to ask for it?

I recently read a report, that the Fed is very hesitant to cut interest rates, because of Europe would lose interest in investing in the US. Without that on average 3 billon investment a day, the US economy would be in a recession, which would drag everybody down.
