How should a builder show yearly profits/loss in case of Construction (real estate) of a building which shall take many years to complete?The building will eventually be sold out on completion.
Please suggest a website if any which demonstrates / explains the Book-keeping and accountancy of a construction firm.

I was on Ebay this morning and came across an item I wanted to buy for my little sister (Since I'm not 18 my aunt uses her pay pal account and we pay her for whatever she charges). I always read a sellers feed back so I can see if he or she has had many problems before. I came across a bratz doll at a reasonable price and then checked his feedback, to my discovery he's had many problems. Apparently he's sold quite a few refurbished items and listed them as new. I read on a website somewhere that it is illegal, but I'm not sure how trust worthy that website is. (not saying it's bad but since anyone can post stuff on a website, it's hard telling what's fact or fiction anymore). I'm just curious as to what the law states, if there is even such a law.

I know it is not right to make a general statement about German products, but I do notice that most German Products are on top of their leagues, like BMW and Mercedes for Cars, Steinway and Bosendorfer for pianos, Carl-Zeiss for lenses, Blaupunkt and Sennheiser for audio equipment, Rolex was founded by a German (though it is now swiss), Staedtler for engingeering drawing instruments.

I'm not trying to start a nationalistic argument here.
I just want to know your opinions on why there are so many German products that are of good quality.

I am Ephraim Umpan, 17 years old, belong to poor native family,. That my parent advice me do not continue in college level, they say just get in married work in farm, they added" Education is useless, it is only for the rich man they are all foolish." but I insist and make up my own decison, I leave my family at very young age and work here in Davao philippines, I did this because I want to prove to them that Education has it important sense in us. But sadly inspite of the great effort that I make like working just to earn money, selling garbages, fruit and vegetables and ecth. I still encountered financial crisis one factor that i had seen is Government cannot reall accomodate all of our need.. now! I will not tell you all of my story: but please help me..

I know that this sounds weird, but it has always been my dream to own a buisness, but I have no money, I am only 18 years old and I want to start out my adult life after high school with a bang so all I have to do is go to college and be set, I know that this also sounds snoby and I want to start at the top, but there is a reason for that which is I want to donate to charitys that I love but can't donate money because I am bearly making it now. So if anyone as any advice about how to purchase a multi-million dollar business, please leave answer.

In an effort to make the event more family friendly and increase the number of attendees, we’d like to lower the ticket price this year. An extremely informal survey amongst our friends has suggested that each time we lower the ticket price $1, an additional 5 people will attend.

So I had a cop come to my work today and inform that the 100 dollar bill i gave my dentist to make a payment was fake!! Incredibly this bill came from Bank of America where I cashed it on Friday. He put my name on a report that the dentist office filed and told me since they're out a hundred bucks I would have to pay them. I immediately went to the bank where the asst. manager told me there was nothing she could do since they can't just take my word for it and reimburse me. I know, for a fact, that I got this bill from them, I have an account with them, they have proof that the transaction took place on Friday, but they say I could've gotten the bill from anywhere, so I think I'm just screwed. I guess this isn't a question, more of just a rant and disappointment that even though I did nothing wrong I'm the one who's getting blamed and has to suffer the embarassment, as well as have to pay 100 dollars that I don't have. Thanks for listening.

I reveived a blank money order as payment from an ebay listing. None of the fields are filled in, but the amount it is for (its value) is filled in.

After I put a stop payment on a check the bank let it go through, resulting in 7 overdraft fees!!! Now they refuse to credit me the overdrafts.

I have climbed the ladder to the point that they won't return my calls
Where can I go


The bank by the way is National City and it's not the first time this has happened

personally these gas prices are killing us; it is currently $2.88 per gallon in our area. It's approx $20 a day just to go back and forth to work, not to mention the way all industries have hiked their prices to accomodate. My husband does construction and the prices of building materials has tripled and concrete went from $75 to $105 a cu yrd.
We all know that the war is not solely to blame so whats the deal???
Do you see the light at the end of the tunnel?????????

I am moving in a few months and I will be needing a change of address. I am suppose to be getting a very important piece of mail around the time I move and I don't want it getting sent to my old apartment if I have already moved. Would it be better to just get my mail held for a few weeks and then after I recieve my important piece of mail then do a change of address??? I really don't want the USPS to screw up anything!
