If a company asks you to bring 2 references, do I put that on a seperate piece of paper or on my resume?

If at all possible you should get references to write you a letter of recommendation and then attach just behind your cover letter.

Most likely you will have to fill out an application and it will ask for references on there. I would still put it on a separate piece of paper just in case, if not at least you will have it there with you to reference while filling out the application.

Put it on the cover letter.
