I am only 19, so I really don't have a very large cash flow to place into the market...so should I go with small businesses or larger companies (i.e. Starbucks, Johnson & Johnson), or a mixture of the two?

If a business gets an "F" from them, and has a ton of complaints, do they actually do anything like report them to some legal agency, or are they just a ratings-only organization? I have a problem with a glass company, and they have an F rating from the BBB, and lots of complaints similar to mine.

What if the reason you dropped out wasn't because college was hard or because you were a quitter but simply because you saw it was a poor value and that it was possible, even preferable, to learn the needed skills in real-world environments.

(Because there are no 'apprenticeships' outside of college internships for white collar positions.)

I have insurance; but did a procedure that my insurance did not fully cover. I owed approx 600 dollars on a 5000 dollar procedure. It is now with a collection company. But; if I don't pay it; what's the worse that can happen? Does it affect my credit? Can I still visit the collecting hospital? Etc.

Recently I made an online purchase with a company that required my credit card. The company is not a fraudulent company or anything, it's just a normal one. www.strategyfirst.com (or perhaps digital river, a company they might have hired to manage their sales). Their billing system had an error and charged my credit card twice for one item.

I emailed them requesting a refund, but was told that they process no refunds.

I feel almost robbed by the fact that I didn't authorize them to bill me twice.

QUESTION: What are my options to take in getting my money back?

(if you are not answering the question, please do not answer. I am not interested in your opinion about using credit cards on the internet. Sorry to turn away so many potential replies, but it can be difficult to get a direct answer on yahoo answers. People usually are too braindead/self-centered to answer the actual question)
