i have just recieved a giro for under £400,so i now you can cash it at the post office.but i am not sure if it is a crossed one.can any one tell me what a crossed check looks like?mine has on the back the same as what an ordidnary one is like but mine has 2 circles at the top,it also has on pay office stamp underneath!!! do you have any idea.thanks

giro is from child support agency.and i always could cash them at po if it is under £400.

two lines going through it is crossed, depends who the giro is from some require it put in bank and some can be cashed the post office will know,yours sounds like it will be cashed at the post office its for only bring some id with u

take it to your post office and they will be able to tell you but im sure you can cash all giros at the post office and you dont need to go to a bank.

take it to the post office u usually take it to with some form of id and they should cash it

it has to be put into a bank.
POs will not cash that amount
